Macom

Period of operation: September 2010 – July 2013

Macom, a leading Brazilian company in the manufacture of equipment and systems for professional kitchens, received a proposal to purchase its shares from Hoshizaki, a Japanese company that manufactures kitchen equipment with operations in the United States and Europe.

When Excelia was hired to conduct the M&A process, it identified opportunities and, in line with the partners of Macom, paused the transaction and led the implementation of initiatives to maximize value in the resumption of negotiations with potential investors.

With a new level of management and results, Excelia managed the entire M&A process, from defending the new business plan with potential investors, negotiating the transaction values, to coordinating the preparation of Macom’s purchase and sale documents.
