About Maria Isabel Fontana
She has extensive knowledge and experience in Recovery and Judicial Administration. He worked for 14 years in Civil Litigation and Arbitration, Banking and Restructuring in a large firm, advising national and international companies in disputes of the most diverse nature and complexity, as well as in the recovery of credits or investments in companies in crisis, in addition to Judicial Administrators and Liquidators in insolvency proceedings in Brazil and abroad.
She worked directly in processes such as VarigLog, Independência, Banco Santos, Inepar, Celpa, Rede Energia, Schahin, Mabe, Carolo, Eneva, Passaredo, OAS, PDG, Oi, Avianca, Ecovix, Renuka, Vista Alegre, Zamin, Bom Jesus, Banco Rural, among others.
Academic Background
Graduated in Law from PUC/SP in 2008. LL.M in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary and Westfield College, London, in 2012. Master in Commercial Law from PUC/SP, in 2016. PhD candidate in Commercial Law at USP, expected to complete in 2024.
